Where is Newtown?
Newtown is in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It is approximately 20 miles northeast of Philadelphia and 10 miles due west of Trenton, New Jersey. For directions click here.

Where is the Newtown Beerfest held?
The festival is in the parking lots of the Newtown Stocking Works Complex at 410 South State Street.  It is just north of the intersection with the Newtown Bypass. This is an outdoor event. To see a map of the event click here.

What do I get with my First Tap ticket?
The First Tap session runs from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm. This is a chance to taste some rare and unique brews before the crowds get there. You will also receive a special T-shirt and a ticket for a free food item. The first tap ticket allows you to enjoy the festival in its entirety until 5:30 pm.

What do I get with my General Admission ticket?
You will receive a souvenir glass for sampling the beer from local and regional brewers. There will also be great live music.  

Do I need a Valid ID even if I am obviously over 21?
YES. Due to PA State Law, everyone that enters the festival must present a valid ID. We will checking all ID's at the gate.

Can I buy beer at the Newtown Beerfest?
Unfortunately, this is prohibited by Pennsylvania law. However, there are stores in town that sell beer. They have been encouraged to carry beers you will see at the Beerfest.

If I am a Brewery, how do I get involved?

What is there to do in Newtown before or after the Beerfest?
Plenty! There are a number of shops and restaurants along State St., Sycamore St. and Washington Ave. Stroll along these main streets to see what the Beerfest benefits.

The event will be held rain or shine. If it rains, tents will be provided. It is important to prioritize the safety of the public and volunteers in the event of a hazardous weather condition. If the weather poses a significant threat to their well-being, it may be necessary to shut down the event. Tickets are required for all attendees. If it rains, tents will be provided.
PLEASE NOTE: No one under 21 will be admitted. Everyone must have valid ID. No children, no babies, no pets, no chairs and no firearms.
